Everything You Need To Know About Target’s 2024 Teacher Prep Event

Target Teachers, assemble! The Target Teacher Prep Event is back and it’s bigger than ever. From July 14 to August 24, teachers can get a one-time special 20% discount off their entire purchase, in-store or online.

Plus, starting July 14, you can get $50 off a Target Circle 360™ subscription for teachers! With this subscription, you’ll get unlimited same-day deliveries to your home or school for the first year as a verified teacher or staff member. It’s like having a personal assistant run errands while you teach!

We know these deals aren’t going to fix our systemic school-funding woes, but if you shop at Target, we want to make sure you have the hookup for all your personal shopping.

Not spending your own money on your classroom this year? (Hey, we get it!) You still might want to take advantage of this one because you can use it for your entire purchase. That means 20% off household essentials, that new fall outfit you’ve been eyeing, and your own kids’ school supplies.

How do I get the discount?

If you haven’t done this before, start here to go through Target’s four easy steps.

  • Step 1: Create a Target account (or sign in if you already have one) on desktop or mobile.
  • Step 2: Join Target Circle if you haven’t already (it’s free).
  • Step 3: Verify your teaching status here (click the “Get Verified” button).
  • Step 4: Check back in to redeem the bonus from July 14 through August 24.

How does verifying my status work?

It’s super easy. Let me show you.

First, you’ll fill in your school info.

Lastly, you’ll upload a document that shows your name and “2024” on it (pay stub, ID, etc.).
